By the way, keep on playing with virtual pet games.

Today I noticed that my favourite site, Virtualbark, virtual dog site just got a new section – Virtualbark Flash Games. There is so many flash games, i myself not played with all, but still a great collection, updated regulary.

You can find Categories such as Action games, Car and motorsport games, Other, Advanture and RPG games, Logic games, Sport games, Strategy games, Skill games.
But the best part is, if you play a game, you get a list of similar “related” games, so you can pick the next one which you’ll probably like. Like Youtube, but for flash games. Also you can assemble your own favourite list of games, so you can find them easy. Comments and informtion and rating also avaible, so its a fully featured flash game site. But only for virtual puppy lovers, becouse you need a Virtualbark account to leave comments and make favourite list. If you only want to play games, than you don’t need an account at this browser game.
So have fun with there, i almost forget to tell you the url: http://games.virtualbark.com
I gave you a basic tutorial on a virtual puppy game, Virtualbark. But these games are not only for growing pets, feeding them, earning money. Lot of the gamers make friends on these sites. My favourite virtual dog game, Virtualbark, also offers you this unique opportunity.
First of all, it has inner mail system. You can write mails to other users inside the game. Click on the mail menu, than you can see your inbox. Use the inner menu to Write a message, check your Sent message, or Filter senders. The Filter senders menu is important, if you get some (or a lot) of spams, sexual conent and so on. You can simply deny users to send you messages.
You can also use the Messageboard, which is basicly like a marketplace. Everyone is talking about everything in the same time. Lots about browser games, virtual dogs and virtual pets. Here you can make friends, but i recommend the chat instead. Its cleaner and has more space to talk like private rooms, etc. And also its faster.
And the biggest one is the Forum. Lots of topics, lots of people there, writing about absolutely everything what comes in their mind. There you can report bugs, request features to Virtualbark game.
I also updated my blog, with a shoutbox. Feel free to leave message. See you next time!
If you didn’t read the first part of the tutorial, please start there. My goal is give you a hand with this popular browser game.
In this part, i’m going to show you how to buy your first virtual dog. First of all, you select new dog from the menu.
Then decide what will your dogs name be. You can try to use common names like Rusty or Jack, but they are probably in use. If they are in use, you can try to pick Rusty32 or some other alternatives Virtualbark gives you, like Mr. Jack. Virtual puppies must have theire unique names. Than you choose the gender of your dog, its not brain surgery, male or female dogs. Last choise is the race of your dog. My pick is golden retriver ofcourse.
If everything goes well, you get a nice message, that you have your first virtual pet.
Browser games are usully easy, but i think, some tutorial might not be bad. See you in the next part.
Some of my friends got they virtual pet account stolen. But the big question is, is it real criminalism, or simply child joke?!
If you got your virtual dog account stolen, its probably that someone find out your password. Most of the browser games has almost no bugs that allow you to steal an other user’s account. They can’t use a method called brute force, which means they try all possibilities for password, because it would take ages to login.
Almost all cases the pure choise for the password was the problem. DON’T USE common keywords as dog, puppy or password. Also don’t user birth dates, nick or real name. Avoid using only numbers, 0123456789 is NOT a good password.
Virtualbark got its own password strength meter. Its an unique feature almost only this virtual pet site has. Try to find out a password that is at least “normal” strength. But remember the password, its no use to use a password like 4233jnkd1234 that you cannot remember.
Have fun with virtual pets.
I decided to write you a nice tutorial about my favourite virtual dog game – Virtualbark. I hope you are going to enjoy this, if you got any questions, write it on the comment part, i’m going to answer all of your questions. I’m going to split the tutorial into parts, each part is going to give you more game details.
First of all, you need to visit the site and register, the banner and the link below.
Lots of virtual pet sites allow you to order T-shirts. I don’t really understand this. Those t-shirts are only for advertising the site, lots of them look ugly and has pure quallity. Shipping also cost you a lot of money. I myself prefer to buy some own paper for T-shirts and than print some nice picture on it. Why don’t they give you some nice drawing, what you can put on your T-shirt?!
Let me include some example pictures, what i really want to wear, really want to put on my T-shirt. Pictures are for virtual dog category:

If you like them, feel free to print them and wear in a name of virtual dogs.
It’s an iteresting topic, i try to find out, why can people like me get addict with virtual pet games. Blizzard, a game creator company says: “The graphics doesn’t matter, only the feeling when you play a game”. But in a browser game its hard to create a nice feeling without great graphics. Most of these online games doesn’t have sounds, so your ears remain hungry. You cannot touch the virtual pet you’re playing with, so the only thing what remains is the graphics.
I’m not talking about Flash and video and so on, just some nice kind of graphics, what your willing to watch for hours, if the game is good. I myself prefer nicely drawn cartoons, but i hate if they move and flash and blinks. Somehow it annoys me. I think developers shoud find the “just enought” amount of graphics.
Today I set up a voting system, so i want to know what you’re thinking about virtual pet games and their graphics.
Hy everyone!
Today I decided to blog about popular games called virtual pet sites, i’m especially interested in virtual dog or someone may call it virtual puppy sites. I try to focus on social part of these so called browser games. I hope you will enjoy it, if you got any questions, feel free to comment on the blog.
Wikipedia comes up with this definition:
Virtual petsites or bbmmo’s (Browser Based MMO’s) are usually free to play and accessible to all who sign up. They can be accessed through web browsers and often include a virtual community, Neopia in Neopets, Ettaworld in Ettapets, Wytheria on Wytheria: The Mystic Island or tiki village in MrTiki. In these worlds, you can play games to earn virtual money; which is usually spent on items and food for your pets.
Some sites adopt out pets to put on your webpage and use for roleplaying in chat rooms. They often require the adoptee to have a page ready for their pet. Sometimes they have a setup for breeding one’s pets and then adopting them out.
Other sites that adopt out pets to put on a webpage are centered around writing for and breeding said pets to create newer, often ’showier’ creatures. Members are often encouraged to create their own species of draconic creatures, to adopt from other members, and to breed the various species together. Unlike with some adoption agencies for webpage based cyberpets, where the owner of the species is the only one that can breed said species, the Nexus encourages all of its members to share and interbreed their species together, and the resulting offspring are usually adopted out to story-based or stats page-based web-pages.
Some games also allow users to breed a pet for combat against other players.

Don’t think so. They are just cute little animals on your screen. You can feed them, teach them and have fun with endless of options these sites gives to you. Also they are great if you are looking for friends, most of the teenagers have tried one of these virtual pet games once. The chat opportunity is also remarkable, you visit a certain site (for example a virtual dog site) because you got some feelings about dogs. You like them well. Others, who also like dogs visit the same site. So you instantly got a topic to talk about: dogs
If you really want a virtual dog, try Virtualbark, it has nice graphics and a big community.
